Defying all odds, a Las Vegas transplant from Bishop, Texas just won her near record forth lotto jackpot, a healthy $10 million prize. 63 year old Joan Ginther certainly has a knack for picking lucky numbers. As financial experts advise, she snared a lump sum payout, rather than take the jackpot as a series of yearly installments.
What were her other jackpots? Her first win was a $5.4 million dollar jackpot back in 1993, which she took in 20 yearly payments. She hasn’t even gotten to the end of those payments yet, and she’s already won 3 more times. In 2006 she pocketed a $2 million share of the Texas Holiday Millionaire game, then in 2008 she grabbed a $3 million winner. Her total winnings are now $20.4 million, and she may not be done yet! There is hope for everyone!

Want to get a card like this for some really fun shopping? Well, the AMEX black card would welcome you if you won the big lotto jackpot, but winning is essential because you have to spend $250,000 each year on the card. Better find your lucky numbers!
When you’re playing the lotto only one thing is important, picking lucky numbers. Plain and simple, that’s the difference between winning a jackpot and losing your money. If you’re a whiz at picking lucky numbers, you’ll have success, and if not it will be one week of frustration after another.
Here are some ways to help make sure you are choosing the numbers that will have the most luck for you when you are playing the lottery or other games of chance, such as keno, bingo, or roulette. A quick aside about keno. In many areas you can play keno games just about 24/7, and although you typically won’t win as much as you do if you hit a big lotto jackpot, you will win much more often than when playing the state lotteries.
Astrology
One way to pick lucky numbers is with astrology. This is very popular, and in fact I did a previous post on astrology lucky numbers. There are many other ways to choose you winners though. One of the most popular is to use your birthday or those of a close friend or loved one. This is actually the most popular method used by people to try and get winning numbers.
Birthday Method
There are a couple of problems with the birthday method, however. One is that there is no evidence that your birthday numbers are actually luckier for you than any others. The second is that many people play their birthdays, which increases the number of people that choose numbers from 1 – 31. Because there are more people playing those numbers, any winning combinations using them will statistically be won by more people, so the take per person will be less money. Better to find some different numbers to use when you play.
Trend Lines
You can normally find the lucky numbers for state lottery games right on the state’s own website. It will tell you which numbers have won the most frequently, and which have been hot lately. That can help you pick your numbers, Remember that each contest is supposed to be a completely random, statistically independent event, and no one drawing should be able to indicate which numbers may be chosen in any future drawing. As can be seen from some of the patters indicated in the state lotto results, this is not always the case, no matter the though put into trying to completely randomize the results.
Life Patterns
Sometimes you can use your life patterns to discover your lucky numbers. If you are constantly checking the time and finding it ends in the same numbers, for example. Those could be your lucky numbers. Have you looked at the clock or your phone and the time always seems to end in :44, or some other such number? In that example, 44 would be your lucky number. Have you always ended up on the same numbered street or road, even in different towns or cities? If it has a numeric value associated with it that always seems to be there, that could be one of your lucky numbers.
Statistical Analysis
Other than certain gut feelings you may have, the only way to be sure you are increasing your chances to win are by using a scientific based method. Statistical analysis is a way to actually analyze the numbers that have been picked in the past, in an attempt to discern a pattern, so the numbers that are more likely to be chosen in the future might be found.
The advent of powerful, affordable computers has advanced this tremendously. Just 15 or 20 years ago, the computers available to the everyday person would not have been powerful enough to do the heavy duty number crunching necessary to find the small variations that make up these lucky number patterns.
It helps to have someone from one of the most prestigious technical universities on your side when you’re developing the formula for such an analysis. In development for an astounding 27 years, the Formula One Lotto Analysis System is the type of powerful software you need to run the complex calculations necessary to find your lucky numbers. It was developed by an MIT professor to help you finally win those big jackpots you’ve been chasing all those years. To discover how he does it, click here now.

Would you like to drive a trick, new Escalade like this one? Wouldn't we all! If you win one of the biggest Powerball jackpots, you could drive one of these, and just about any other ride your heart desires.
The Powerball Lottery is famous for huge jackpots. Just how huge?? Well, the biggest Powerball Lottery winner in 2009 was Solomon Jackson Jr, of South Carolina, who pocketed an unbelievable $129,777,212.43 jackpot on August 19 of 2009. He actually won $259,900,000, but decided to take the cash all up front, instead of getting the annuity payments over time. That is a smart financial move, as you will see in a minute.
Just how much money is that jackpot, really. It is so large that most people can not even fathom how much money it really is. What could you buy with a stack of cash that large?
Well, you’d like to but a nice, new car with your winnings, wouldn’t you? Sure, just about everybody would. Maybe you’d like something nice, like a brand, new Mercedes Benz. You could not only buy a new Mercedes. You wouldn’t even have to choose which one to get. You could buy one of each of Benz’s 43 different models, including their 13 super fast, AMG models, every year, and never run out of money!
No, really, it’s true. One of each Mercedes model would set you back a hair over $3,742,000. After you paid taxes on your jackpot, you’d have about $85 million left over. Let’s just say that you bought a $5 million house and were left with a paltry $80 million! If you put your money into 5 year treasury bonds, which are returning 2.01% as this is written, you’d make about $1.6 million a year.
If, however, you dropped your winnings into one of several high yield municipal bond funds that pay over 3% annual returns (there are at least 10 different municipal bond funds that have averaged over 3% for the last 5 years), you’d pull down $2.4 million a year in interest alone for the rest of your life.
Imagine that! You could make $2.4 million a year from your winnings, forever. Since earnings on municipal bonds are tax free, you’d have to pay no income tax on it, either. Remember, you already own a $5 million home in which to kick back, as well. You could sell your new cars and buy new ones every year.
Now, I’m not saying that would be a sound financial decision, but it goes to show the immense amounts of money people are winning with Powerball. Put another way, you would be making over $65,000 a day on the interest alone! You’d have that money rolling in forever, even after paying your taxes and buying a $5 million mansion! Imagine what you could do with that kind of money!
That was last August, but Solomon Jackson Jr is only one of the big Powerball winners last year. Not to sound like “But wait, there’s more!”, but there are.
As one fantastic Christmas present, Rob Anderson of Georgetown Kentucky got a Powerball jackpot worth $128.6 million, all from a $3 ticket he bought on a whim last Christmas Eve while on his way to Wal-Mart. The 39 year old pulled in to a convenience store to snap up a couple of lottery tickets as stocking stuffers for his family. He grabbed the $3 ticket for himself as a second thought. Smart move! It turned out to be the winning ticket for the $128 million jackpot.
That wasn’t the only smart move Rob made. One of the first things he did after winning was to consult with an attorney. That is a heck of a lot of money, and it has a way of getting you into trouble or vanishing before your very eyes. Speaking with a good attorney is a very wise move. Rob is even looking at going back to school to get his finance degree. After all, he won’t have to work, and it would be a good idea to learn how money really works, since he has so much of it!
This year the big winnings keep coming. Just 2 months ago, Chris Shaw, a 29 year old convenience store clerk form Marshall Missouri walked away with an astounding $258 million jackpot. Chris also took the cash up front option, to the tune of a whopping $124,875,122.48 check.
Earlier this year, retired firefighter Frank Griffin of Asheville North Carolina nabbed a Big Powerball jackpot worth $141 million. He took the cash, now option and received a check for $69,682,459.88. That’s a lot of dollars, and after the feds and state take their cuts, Frank will be left with $47 million to tide him over for retirement. It looks like his retirement plans just got a whole lot more wide open!
What was the biggest Powerball Jackpot winner back in 2008? An office pool from West Virginia won a $276,300,000 jackpot. They took the cash and pocketed over $139 million.
In 2007, it was the Contrel and Hiles families splitting a $314 million pot. They also took the cash, and had to decide what they would each do with their half of the $146 million cash up front prize money.
Those are just the largest winners. There are dozens of people that win $20 million, $70 million, or $100 million jackpots. In fact, most Powerball Lottery jackpots are over $50 million and the biggest are over $200 million. There are usually a few really huge prizes won every year. There have been 3 jackpots over $210 million won already this year, and in 2009 there were 6 jackpots over $125 million.
Joining these winners is all a matter of luck….or is it? There are some lottery winning systems out there that claim to be able to significantly improve your odds of winning a jackpot. Ken Silver has just such a system and his is well known for helping to produce winners. Discover what others are saying about it, and what he does to move the odds more in your favor so maybe you can win one of the big Powerball jackpots. Click here now.

Can you win a lottery jackpot using your computer? Well, some people have done it by using their computer to run powerful software that helps them select winning number combinations. Isn't the computer revolution great!
Everyday in the United States alone millions of people play the lottery. In fact, there are 35,000 different authorized lottery games throughout the U.S. Many people have elaborate systems or other schemes to choose their lucky numbers, while others simply let the quick pick machines do the selection for them. That brings up an interesting question. Does anyone really know how to select winning lottery numbers?
After all, it is supposed to be a purely random game of chance. Can you actually influence the odds of winning in your favor? There are many systems people use to pick their winning numbers. One of the most common has to do with dates.
Players often use important dates in their lives to derive their chosen numbers, such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduation dates, and so forth. The problem with those methods is that, because they are so popular, it does little to improve your chances of winning, but it does increase the possibility that if you do win, you do not have to share your jackpot with so many of the other people who also picked the same numbers.
Lottery Wheels
Wheeling programs are another method used to choose winning jackpot numbers. It is one of the most popular systems people use to pick winners. What is a lottery wheel and how does it work to increase a player’s odds of winning? A lottery wheel is simply an arrangement whereby a play buys multiple tickets and chooses the numbers in such a way that they are virtually assured to have at least a share in a winning jackpot. It is not as easy as it sounds, however, which makes sense, or everyone would be doing it.
Types of Lottery Wheels
There are full and abbreviated wheels. A full wheel includes all possible winning combinations of a given number set., for example the numbers 1, 6, 29, 39, 45, and 49 on a 6/49 lottery. That is only an example. Your chosen numbers can, and probably would be different, as you can choose any numbers that you want to be in your set.
An abbreviated wheel is, as it sounds, a wheel that does not cover as many combinations as does a full wheel system. It is used when players do not want to, or can’t purchase all of the tickets required to implement a full wheel system. It still gives you an increased chance of winning a secondary jackpot, and some players have been very successful with these.
A variation of the abbreviated wheel is the key number wheel. The key number wheel is used when you want to have a certain number (the key number) be in all the combinations. If you like to play your street number and it happens to be 47, you may want that to be in all your combinations. 47 would then be your key number.
How Lottery Wheels Work
Here is how a lottery wheel works. First, a broad set of numbers is selected. For example, you could define your set as 15 specific numbers out of the overall lottery’s 48 numbers. You then select a minimum guarantee, which is simply the least amount of numbers you want to match. For example, you could decide you want to match at least 4 of the 6 numbers drawn, which would mean your minimum guarantee is 4. Typically the goal of a wheel is not to win the entire jackpot, but to win one or more smaller jackpots.
The next piece of information you’ll need is how many numbers you’ll need to fall within the range of your set to guarantee that you’ll win at least some prize. Although this may all sound rather complicated, in reality it is much simpler than it sounds.
The Formula 1 Lotto Number System
Now there is a new system on the scene you can use to help select winning numbers. Called the Formula 1 system by it’s founder for the speed with which it can deliver winning number combinations, it was actually developed by an MIT professor over a 27 year period. That gives you an idea of the problem’s complexity. After all, when the possible number of combinations is so huge, you need a bit of extra help on your side.
If you’ve been trying to win the big jackpot, or even a little one for years now, then you know what I mean, don’t you? The Formula 1 system is powerful software that is guaranteed to work. If you don’t like what you see they’ll even refund your money, no questions asked. It’s pretty amazing stuff! To discover more about this revolutionary lottery number picking system – click here now.

There are ways to use astrology to help find your "lucky" numbers. You can then play the lottery with them, because more luck sure never hurts!
There are many ways to pick winning lottery numbers. Using lucky lotto astrological numbers will leverage the power of the stars and numerology to help get you that much closer to winning that big lotto jackpot. How can you use the date, astrological charts, your sign, and the stars to determine what numbers will be chosen by the ball machine?
There are a few options that can put astrology to work for you, and hopefully increase your odds of hitting a big payoff. Astrology is the art and science of using the position of the moon, sun and stars to determine future events. Lottery numbers yet to be drawn certainly fit the bill there.
There are twelve astrological signs; Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Pisces. Each sign corresponds to a part of the year that is roughly a month long. If your birthday falls into the appropriate date range, that is your sign.
Everyone has their own lucky numbers according to their astrological charts. You have to find your lucky numbers and use them to win that jackpot! Here is how to find your lucky numbers using the stars.
Your lucky number is simply three of the numbers associated with your birthday added together.
The day of the month you were born
The number of the month
The number of the year
The result is then added a second time, then the component parts are added yet again. Confused yet?
These together derive what’s known as your key lucky number. So, for example if your birthday was January 19, 1968, then your key lucky number would be 1 + 19 + 1968 = 1988, which is then added like so: 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 26. You then add 2 + 6 top get 8, which is your base lucky number. This process is also known as fadic addition.
What can you do with that number vis-a-vis winning the lotto? You use this number, along with others derived from your name to get your lucky lotto numbers. So if your name is Joe Smith, you take the numerical value associated with each letter of the name, from its position in the alphabet, to arrive at your lucky number, in a similar process you used for the birthday number.
You get the numbers 1+6+5=12, which is for the first name, Joe. For Smith you have 1+4+9+2+8=24. Now you have your lucky birthday number (8), plus two lucky name numbers, (12) and (24). If you are ente4ring a 6 number lotto, you’re half way there!
You can use astrology to help you choose lucky lottery numbers, but there is obviously no guarantee of picking a winner. If you can get closer to one though, so much the better. Every edge you can get is a leg up over everyone else who is playing.
Some experts claim to be able to influence the odds to swing in your favor substantially more than would otherwise be possible by simply choosing the most common winning numbers. One of the most popular is Ken Silver, whose Silver Lotto System is responsible for helping more than one jackpot winner pick the winning numbers. To discover what Ken’s system offers, and if he can help you finally win the big jackpot, click here now.

Before you can see a pile of money like this, you actually have to win the darn thing! Doing that requires you to hit the lucky numbers. Here are some of the most picked winning lottery numbers. Good Luck!
When searching for the most picked winning lottery numbers you first need to determine which lottery you are playing. Is it a 649 Lotto, a Powerball, Mega-Millions, or one of the many state lotto drawings? All have different odds and the distribution of the most picked winning numbers is somewhat different.
According to studies, about 65% of people let the lottery computer choose their numbers for them. While you can do that, your chances are better if you pick your won numbers instead. That way you can have a positive effect on the outcome by choosing numbers that have a better percentage chance of winning.
Although simply choosing numbers that are favored will not give you a radical better chance of winning, there are lottery systems out there that purport to be able to tilt the odds in your favor by enough to actually be better than simply choosing the most likely drawn numbers.
First of all, as mentioned earlier, roughly 65% of lottery players use the machine “quick pick” system to choose their numbers for them. While that is certainly easier than marking the numbers yourself, you should be aware that, although 65% of players let the machine do the talking for them, they only comprise 45% of winners. That says that choosing the numbers yourself gives you a greater chance of winning a jackpot.
By picking numbers yourself, not only can you increase your odds of winning, but you can decrease your chances of having to share your jackpot with multiple people. You can play less common numbers, so the chances having others share them are proportionately smaller. Charing can substantially reduce the size of your prize. For example, if you were to win a typical $4 million jackpot, imagine sharing it with only 4 other people.
That would take your annual paycheck from $200,000 before taxes, which is a healthy income, to only $50,000. While an extra $50,000 every year is certainly nothing to sneeze at, in many cases it is less than an average worker makes, and is definitely not quit my job and retire on a big boat kind of money.
So, what are the most common winning lottery numbers? First some insight into winning number distribution that will increase your chances of winning a jackpot. First, about half of all lotto jackpots include at least one pair of consecutive numbers, so always include a pair in most of your number sets. Generally, the most common winning lottery numbers drawn in the U.S. are 3-7-9-11-25-27 . The least common winning numbers are 20-30-39-40-41-48.
Remember that although logic would dictate that the winning number distribution would be a matter of random chance, this isn’t the case. There are tiny mechanical biases thrown into the equation, due to slight variations in the machine, balls, method used to choose the balls and the fact that the time horizon is not long enough to make things truly random.
The number of possible combinations is so large that although it would approach a random distribution if the drawing was dome millions of times, that is far longer that the number of time you’re likely to play any of these contests. That meas that what matters to you is near term probabilities of winning with given number combinations.
Using the most picked numbers is no guarantee that any of them will be chosen in the future. In addition, choosing the least picked numbers suing the logic that they are “overdue” to be chosen doesn’t work either. That is because each drawing is a statistically independent event, where what happened in one drawing has absolutely no effect on any other. From a purely statistical standpoint, this is true. However, as mentioned previously, there are slight variations from complete random due to mechanical bias. That would indicate that using the most chosen method is one way of very slightly increasing your chances of winning a jackpot.
Winning the Lottery is all based on statistics, and what is better at digesting statistics than a computer? That’s why an MIT professor worked on perfecting his lottery number picking software for an amazing 27 years before he finally released it to the public to rave reviews. To discover more about his powerful winning lottery number picking software, and if it can help you choose the winning numbers in your lottery, click here now.
